UPDATE 3/6/20: CD Projekt Red has pushed back its plans to show more of Cyberpunk 2077, via a livestream originally set for Thursday next week.
The show will now be held a week later, on Thursday 25th June.
Writing on Twitter last night, CD Projekt Red said that “more important discussions are happening right now and we want them to be heard”.
We decided to move Night City Wire to Jun 25th. We still look forward to sharing new information about CP’77, but more important discussions are happening right now and we want them to be heard. We wholeheartedly stand against racism, intolerance and violence. Black Lives Matter.

ORIGINAL STORY 6/5/20: Cyberpunk 2077’s revised release date of 17th September is still four months away, but developer CD Projekt has in the works for impatient fans, and it’s coming in June.
The developer’s announcement, as far as it goes, appeared on Twitter earlier today, teasing the arrival of something called Night City Wire on 11th June. That’s pretty much the extent of the specifics, but it seems reasonable to interpret the little TV emoji accompanying the tweet as indication that we’re probably entering livestream territory here.
